Your first priority when you move to a new city—or galaxy—is finding a place. Enter Apartments.com, the place to find a place.
What started as a spot in the annual TV campaign became a Super Bowl spot because…it’s that good. And the client LOVED the mother-in-law joke. I wrote pages upon pages of alts for that end joke and nothing beat it (in the client’s eyes, at least.)
And we made it a whole thing.
We didn’t tease the spot as any ol’ spot in the big game. We played it out to be a potential sci-fi blockbuster starring our very own Jeff Goldblum, leveraging his place in the pantheon of the genre.
We had the internet abuzzed.
This all led to a mysterious microsite that counted down to the exact airtime of the spot. And once that happened, open sesame. See? A whole thing.
